EWG Retail Conference
Dear conference participants,
Welcome to the website of the 5th Meeting of the EURO Group on Retail Operations, organized by KUMPEM, Koç University.
KUMPEM – KU Retail Research Forum aims to foster and strengthen research-industry collaboration in Turkey since 1999 and is sponsored by Migros, the pioneering supermarket chain in Turkey and Koç University.
The 5th meeting of EWG-Retail will take place in 6-7 May 2020 at Koç University Founders Lounge, located at Sarıyer Campus–Istanbul, on the hills of beautiful Bosphorus. This year participating speakers will also be welcomed to the 10th KUMPEM Retail Conference Industry Day at Conrad Istanbul Hotel on May 8th, if they choose to register (Please read details below).
The EURO Group on Retail Operations was started in 2016 and has met on a yearly basis in Beilngries (Germany), Porto (Portugal) and Eindhoven (Netherlands) and Mallorca, Spain. More information can be found at http://www.ewg-retail-ops.eu/
For this occasion, we would like to provide more time to strengthen the interactions among participants, and to foster joint research projects within the group.

Abstract Submission
If you are interested to present your work at the meeting – either in a full talk of 20 minutes or in the poster sessions – please submit by March 1st (EST) to ewgonretailoperations@ku.edu.tr.
The program committee of the EWG Retail Operations will review the submissions and notify you by the end of February:
1st of March – Deadline of abstract submissions
14th of March – Notification of acceptance
23rd of March – Deadline for registration

Kumpem Industry Day — Koç University Annual Retail Conference: This event includes top quality research talks from prominent marketing and operations academics and industry professionals. The event attracts about 200 retail industry executives as audience interested in applied retail research, new applications and innovative solutions. The objective is to showcase high quality applied research (empirical or modeling) and demonstrate the state-of-the art in marketing and operations management research. EWG Retail Conference: The registration fee includes transportation from/to the airport (3 buses with fixed schedule), accommodation and meals for 2 nights 3 days and a mini City tour. Check ins will be on May 5th and check outs will be on May 7th

From Airport bus schedule: May 5th 11 am -21:00 pm ( Istanbul airport- Sabiha Gökçen Airport)
To Airport bus schedule: May 7th 7pm ( additional shuttles if necessary will be planned for earlier departures during the day as well) , May 8th 5pm from İstinye KU
