Welcome to the website of the 5th Meeting of the EURO Group on Retail Operations, hosted by KUMPEM Retail Research Forum, Koç University.
KUMPEM – Koç University Retail Research Forum aims to foster and strengthen research-industry collaboration in Turkey since 1999. It is sponsored by Migros, the pioneering supermarket chain in Turkey.
The 5th meeting of EWG-Retail will take place on October 12-13, 2022 at Koç University Founders Lounge, located at Sarıyer Campus–Istanbul, on the hills of beautiful Bosphorus. This year participating speakers may also have the option to prolong their stay and attend XI. KUMPEM Retail Conference Industry Day on October 14th,, if they choose to register (Please read details below).
The EURO Group on Retail Operations has been founded in 2015 and has met on a yearly basis in Beilngries (Germany), Porto (Portugal) and Eindhoven (Netherlands) and Mallorca, Spain since 2016.
We are looking forward to holding the next EWG-Retail conference to strengthen interactions among all participants, foster joint research projects within the group as well as an opportunity for academic growth for all.

The EURO Group on Retail Operations 5th meeting will be hosting Ph.D students, academics, industry experts from different countries and Turkey. 50 international and 30 local participants are expected to participate in 2022 meeting. (For past conferences: http://www.ewg-retail-ops.eu/)
This year participating speakers will also be welcomed to the 11th KUMPEM Retail Conference Industry Day at October 14th if they choose to register for an extra day.
Kumpem Annual Retail Conferences host top quality research talks from prominent marketing and operations academics and industry professionals every year. The event attracts about 200 retail industry executives as audience interested in applied retail research, new applications and innovative solutions. The objective is to showcase high quality applied research (empirical or modeling) and demonstrate the state-of-the art in marketing and operations management research. We are looking forward to learning about your research and academic studies. If you are interested to present your work at the meeting – either in a full talk of 20 minutes or in the poster sessions – please submit by August 8th , 2022 to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The program committee of the EWG Retail Operations will review the submissions as they arrive and finalize all evaluations by August 23rd. Please make sure you complete your registration by September 15th as a participant or a presenter in the conference.
